Service 1- Social Work Roles:

Service 2 - Family Group Conferences:

Parent-Help Ltd. carries out FGCs to discover which family members and friends can offer support to the parents or guardians when necessary or per client specifications. Upon referral, The process takes place with the following stages:


Stage One: We gather information from parents, relevant professionals, family members, and other support networks.


Stage Two: We contact all relevant individuals and identify as suitable venue.


Stage Three: We hold the meeting and allow families to privately formulate their plan for the children. Once re-joined by the coordinator and professionals, the plan is agreed upon.

Service 3 - Parent Support and Intervention

Parenting isn't easy and here at Parent Help we are aware of the challenges that come along with it. We believe that parents can positively adjust their parenting styles when given the right resources and knowledge.


The aim of this service provision is to assist parents as they navigate these challenges.


Following individuals would find the support beneficial:

  • Parents considered risks to their children.
  • Parents who, for one reason or another, wish to improve their parenting skills.
  • Young parents.

Service 4 - Supervised contact:

We strongly believe that all children should maintain contact with their parents and families whenever possible and as advocated. With that, we will:

  • Facilitate and promote contact between children and their parents in a safe, friendly, and relaxed environment
  • Enable collaborative relationships between professionals and parents in the children’s lives by being open and honest and having the best interests of the children in mind
  • Strive to ensure that contact between children and their parents is a positive experience
